Hi there! My name is Harper Jones and I am graduating senior from the University of Georgia. I am pursing my bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion and Behavior with an emphasis in Health Services in the College of Public Health. After graduation, I am moving home to Richmond, Virginia to work as a Medical Assistant for a few years before I apply to Physician Assistant school. I believe this time will provide me with meaningful clinical experience during the gap between my undergraduate and graduate programs. Throughout this semester at UGA, I have been working on earning my CMA through MedCare Health Cert in Lawrenceville, Georgia. I have appreciated learning from professionals during the in-person clinical lessons, and cannot wait to start working!
I have created this website as a digital portfolio to share some of my projects and passion for preventative healthcare.
Outside of academics, I enjoy needlepointing, the outdoors, volunteering, and hanging out with my friends and family. I am always seeking shadowing and volunteer opportunities, and would love to connect – feel free to reach out!
